A long-time friend from work, Christian, went with our family up to the top of the road between Salt Lake and Utah valleys on October 30th. The fall season has been unusually warm, and I really wanted to hit the trails one more time before the snow falls. With a storm coming this weekend, it had to happen before Halloween. I look huge in the panorama because I stood closer to the camera when Christian shot me, but you get a sense of the scene. It was beautiful up there, clear air, and a serene sunset.
